Time Is Tight now runs on WordPress. I used Marc Nozell’s MT-Blosxom flavour files to create a WordPress import file of all my Blosxom entries. It went pretty smoothly, once I figured out that I had to disable themes to make it work.

I’ve just installed WordPress and, if all goes well, I’ll be soon switching to it from Blosxom. Not that I have any big complaints about Blosxom; I’m just feeling a little stale. I’m hoping this will give me the kick start I need to start making regular posts again.

I’ve renamed (and updated) my Blosxom-powered sites list – the old “Notable” title seemed to offend people’s modesty. I’ve added a few sites (courtesy The Photo Drone’s list) and cleaned out some abandoned sites and sites that have moved to another platform.

New Entries Cache Plugin

Fletcher Penney has released version 0.7 of his Entries Cache Blosxom plugin. This plugin is indispensible if you want to be able to edit or move your Blosxom entries without having the date change.
Update: This update fixes the mysterious “meta-creation_date problem” I was having earlier. Thanks, Fletcher!
