			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Although I greatly enjoyed both <cite><a href="http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASIN/6304490100/timeistight-20">Reservoir Dogs</a></cite> and <cite><a href="http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00006BSBW/timeistight-20">Pulp Fiction</a></cite>, nothing I&#8217;ve read about the <cite>Kill Bill</cite> movies has interested me in the slightest.  The impression I get is that I&#8217;d need a grounding in action flicks to get anything<br />
  out of it at all. <a href="http://ask.metafilter.com/mefi/6624">This ask.MetaFilter  thread</a> [spoiler warning] has done nothing to change my mind.</p>
<p>Now that I think of it, I didn&#8217;t think much of <cite>Jackie Brown</cite> either.  I thought <cite><a href="http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASIN/0783229402/timeistight-20">Out of Sight</a></cite> and <cite><a href="http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASIN/0792833279/timeistight-20">Get Shorty</a></cite> were much truer to Elmore Leonard&#8217;s terrific novels.</p>
