Time Is Tight is now hosted on TextDrive, part of Dean Allen‘s emerging media empire.

I took advantage of the move to start using WordPress Alpha’s new themes feature. As of this posting, I’m using Michael Heilemann’s Kubrick as adapted for WordPress 1.3 by Ryan Boren.

I’m in the middle of a switch back to Blosxom for this weblog, but I haven’t decided exactly how to set it up. In the meantime, here’s the blosxom version, subject to change without notice.

According to Jeffrey and Matt, repeating background images are now cool, or cool again, depending on your point of view. Well I figure that if subtle, tasteful backgrounds are cool now, it’s only a matter of time until lurid, distracting backgrounds get cool. Trying to jump ahead of the curve, I’ve, er, “adapted” a Time is Tight background from the Booker T. and the MGs box set (go buy it now). It’s not theft; it’s an homage.

I love how the use of given names above slyly implies that Zeldman, Haughey and I are buds. Well, they have answered my emails!

The badges above are adapted (i.e., stolen) from designs by Jeremy Hedley of Antipixel. No doubt you’ve seen them, or variations on them, all over the web, but no-one has done as much with them as the Raging Platypus.

I’m going to swipe some of his. I hope he doesn’t mind.
