			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>According to <a href="http://www.zeldman.com/daily/0403b.shtml#pattern">Jeffrey</a> and <a href="http://a.wholelottanothing.org/archives.blah/005800">Matt</a>, repeating background images are now cool, or cool again, depending on your point of view. Well I figure that if subtle, tasteful backgrounds are cool now, it&#8217;s only a matter of time until lurid, distracting backgrounds get cool. Trying to jump ahead of the curve, I&#8217;ve, er, &#8220;adapted&#8221; a Time is Tight background from the Booker T. and the MGs <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00000C2PD/qid%3D1052412309/102-9300254-1122560">box set</a> (go buy it now). It&#8217;s not theft; it&#8217;s an homage.</p>
<p class="aside">I love how the use of given names above slyly implies that Zeldman, Haughey and I are buds. Well, they <em>have</em> answered my emails!</p>
