Although I greatly enjoyed both Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, nothing I’ve read about the Kill Bill movies has interested me in the slightest. The impression I get is that I’d need a grounding in action flicks to get anything
out of it at all. This ask.MetaFilter thread [spoiler warning] has done nothing to change my mind.
Now that I think of it, I didn’t think much of Jackie Brown either. I thought Out of Sight and Get Shorty were much truer to Elmore Leonard’s terrific novels.
