A Little Background
According to Jeffrey and Matt, repeating background images are now cool, or cool again, depending on your point of view. Well I figure that if subtle, tasteful backgrounds are cool now, it’s only a matter of time until lurid, distracting backgrounds get cool. Trying to jump ahead of the curve, I’ve, er, “adapted” a Time is Tight background from the Booker T. and the MGs box set (go buy it now). It’s not theft; it’s an homage.
I love how the use of given names above slyly implies that Zeldman, Haughey and I are buds. Well, they have answered my emails!
