Mike Update
Hello everyone. Haven’t had much to add to the website lately and I still don’t but I thought it was time for an update.
Mike is still in hospital and will be for some time to come. He is making slow progress but has a long way to go before he can cope with being at home and making daily trips back and forth to the hospital. He is better off staying in until he has more strength and feels better on a consistent basis. So far he has had up to three days in a row where he feels “better”, but then he has a few hard days. On his better days, he can stay awake longer, doesn’t feel sick to his stomach and can go for a short walk down the hall and back. This exhausts him and requires major effort on his part. This has been quite the ordeal – whew!!
Anyhow, WE WANTED TO WISH EVERYONE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS. If anyone would like to visit Mike for 10 or 15 minutes ( that’s all he can handle) you can call me to see when a good time would be. My number is
604-942-2747. You cannot visit if you have any cold symptoms etc. His immune system is not fully operating yet.
