Mike is much better this week. He is still weak and in need of hospital care but he has made some improvements too. His biggest problem is a bladder that spasms and requires him to have a catheter. If it wasn’t for this he would likely be discharged from hospital.
His Graft versus Host is coming under control and we are all happy about that. The internet has really good information about graft versus host if anyone is interested in more details.
He is starting to be able to walk to the halls a bit and gets restless at times. His stamina is the pits (in his own words), and he is very thin. Recovery is slow but as long as it moves forward, we are happy. Hard to say how much longer he will be in hospital, it depends on the bladder thing. Anyhow, will keep you posted.
