Mike Back in Hospital
I’m sorry to have to report that Mike is back in hospital, although he is relieved to be there. He is feeling quite poorly as he has had a flair up of Graft vs. Host. This is the body trying to reject the new marrow. It is being treated but as of yesterday response was minimal. Maybe today there will be some improvement.
This is a very common reaction in cases like his and it takes time to recover from all the effects. He has a very bad rash, stomach problems and is quite puffy. Looks like he has been in fist fight: Not too pleasant.
The doctors manage to keep him quite comfortable most of the time.
I have no idea how long he will be in hospital this time, I think atl east a week or more. He went in this past Wednesday.
So, onward we perservere. I’ll keep you posted with updates – hopefully better than this one.
